What Causes Coughing, Wheezing, Freezing With Labored Breathing?

My husband went to the dr. on Tues. with what we thought was a sinus infection. She gave him a sinus spray and now he s coughing, wheezing and has labored breathing. I took his temp and it s below normal. He tells me he s freezing and he says walking to the bathroom exhausts him. Should he go back to the dr. or wait it out?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I think he needs immediately going to a doctor for a proper diagnosis and management accordingly. According to the symptoms, he needs to be examined and investigated particularly for myocardial infarction or any pulmonary vein embolism/thrombosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
