What Causes Covering Of Skin Over The Vaginal Opening?

hello i am 14 and im want to start using tampons, i had real trouble seein that i have a hole an even now i cant see it i can only fit an ear bud down there and trying to put a tampon in just feels like im trying to put it in my ear hole it wont fit! And theres something covering most of my hole but i dont know what it is ive looked all over the internet at diagrams and cant figure out what it is,its in my hole and is like lump on skin( i thourghtit was my hymen then my uthea and know i just dont know what it is, its above my hole) Pleasee helppp! its serious now i have seen youtube videos and pictures all over the internet to help me out but it just not helping!!!
