hi so i have really dry or cracked spots on my lips. my mom thinks they are fever blisters but a blister has never formed so i don t know if they are fever blisters or not. i m taking lysineand using Vaseline which seem to be helping but could you tell me if my mom is right or not?
You seem to have chelitis. There may be some cause. Dry wheather, vitamin deficiencies, cosmetics, lipsticks, toothpaste, soap, face cleanser, sun expsure, bad habit of lip biting, anaemia, internal diseases..etc may be responsible. You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. Antibiotiic cream with moisturiser might improve the disease. Avoid lip biting. Suspected cause should be avoided or removed. Vitamin B comlex may be taken for long time. You might feel better after few weeks. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
