What Causes Cracking And Peeling Skin On The Body Of A Child?

My 6 year old son has recently been to the orthodontist as he has a remaining baby tooth with no adult one underneath. He also has no 8yr molours or wisdom teeth. Recently over this year he has also been give prescription glasses for his bad vision and also he has severe skin condition on his hands and feet witch is constantly severely peeling and cracking. We have a app next month with the dermatologist after a long wait on the list. I have done some of my own research and was woundering If HED could be the bottom of the issue his hair is fine at this stage just a little dandruff. But has missing teeth skin condition and vision problems. Please help a stressed mum! No creams or lotions work not even steroid ones

Hi,

You said his only wisdom teeth are missing, wisdom teeth erupts only after 18 years of age. Other teeth are also pegged or pointed. Most of the teeth are missing not only the wisdom teeth. There is congenitally very scare hair.

Skin is dry and patient has too numbered sweat glans. There are many other associated symptoms like weak bones prone to fracture, etc. Hope your child is not having Fibrous Dysplasia and will be healthy soon and visit us back if you have any questions further.
