What Causes Cramping And Lower Back Pain With Nausea?

Hi. I have a regular 35 day cycle & for the last 6 months I have been TTC. My period is now three days late although I did get cramping & lower back pain. I haven t been under any stress - in fact we are about to go on holidays. I m tired & nausious but no vomiting. The only other symptom is I feel really hot. I did a HPT and it was negative. What could be causing this?
