What Causes Cramping And Vaginal Discharge After Subtotal Hysterectomy?

I have had a subtotal hysterectomy a little less than a year ago for fibroids. The doctor left my cervix and ovaries. Lately I have cramps like I am ovulating and recently developed a mucous discharge with no odor or itching. Is there cause for concern?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Since you had subtotalhhysterectomy, the ovaries are still there was n your body, so the ovulation would be occurring and that's why you are experiencing ovulation pain. Discharge from the cervix can be due to infection or precancerous or cancerous lesions in cervix. I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including pap smear and get properly treated.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
