What Causes Cramping, Bloating And Dark Brown Discharge?

My period is due now. I ve only been sexually active once about 3 more this ago. Had normal periods since then and used protection. For the last 5 days I have had cramping, horrible bloated feeling, feel like I have to push togo to the bbathroom and it would help the bloating, dark brown discharge with a little bright red in it sometimes. Not enough to do much on a pad or tampon pretty much just when I wipe. I ve felt warmer then normal...I feel so uncomftorable. No nausea ...

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. In the current scenario, I would suggest a routine urinalysis and a home pregnancy test if you are a week late for your natural period. If performing the HPT gets difficult due to the spotting, you can go for the blood test and if necessary, followed by a trans-vaginal sonogram. Hope this helps.
