What Causes Cramping In Hands With Blurry Vision Post Root Canal Treatment?

Hi and thanks,I just had a n 500. Pain was so great the second day, the left side of face swelled so bad,I was already taken medication every 6hrs(,so I thought.)!! What I m experiencing right now is a little alarming. Cramping in R/L hands vision slightly blurred. I took the medication by mistake a few time I believe every 4hrs. I was so out of it I don t really know if it was 4hrs,not good I know. What do you think is going on. I stopped taking all meds. Got to scared concerned about allergy. Wanted to find out because I was searching side affects/over dose. If so what damage could it cause.Sincerely, Nervous

Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain n 500 contains active ingredient Naproxen that is an anti inflammatory painkiller..
Maximum dose of it should not exceed more than 1500 mg in a day but it seems that you might be taking an overdose of it as per your explanation..
The symptoms you mentioned can be either due to drug overdose or can be anaphylactic reaction..

You should consult an emergency room and get evaluated and a proper examination and blood investigations will help in diagnosis and treatment will be done accordingly..

As far as pain in tooth is concerned and you are undergoing root canal treatment you should consult your dentist and the cleaning of the canals should be redone followed by placing medicament in the canals to clear off infection and relieve pain..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
