What Causes Cramping, Pain, Bleeding And Clotting Instead Of Menstruation?

I missed a month period and Doctors did a blood test and said i wasnt pregnant so i didnt have a period for that month then On Wednesday i started getting cramps and pain and started bleeding and i stopped the next day and i had tissue and loads of blood clots! HELP! CONFUSED
