What Causes Cramps After Periods?

Hi my name is helen and I have had a period like a week in a half ago and then yesterday I was having cramp lik feelings in my butt and today I started bleeding ad it just stop before my period started I haventhad any sexual interactments in a year and I hve have recently done it this past weekend with out any protection and idk if tht has anything to do with it or what but wondering why is it doing that P.s it is really lightand manly like clots. Or something
