What Causes Cramps And Tight Sensation On The Lower Gluteal Muscles?
Hello, I had L4/L5 disectomy and lanimectomy on June 28th. It s been about 2 and a half months now since operation. I felt great the first month and a half and pain free for the first time in months. Recently I have had cramping and tightness in my lower/outer right glute. It s been going on for a few weeks no and I m kinda getting worried. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
The pain you ha e seems to be due to sciatic nerve compression in the sciatic foramen of the pelvis. Pain medicine Ibuprofen . over the counter would help it. You need to do a few physiotherapy sittings to learn. Needful exercises... which would help.
