What Causes Cramps In Face?

Hi Dr Samuel, I have had two stents implanted (heart Problem) in Jan 2007 and had not problem till date. Of late keep getting a cramping feeling on the left side of my face. last for 1 to 2hrs. What is the reason and should i be concerned about it. Regards, Amita

I really appreciate your concern the stent and the symptom that you said about the "facial cramp" is nothing to do with each other the facial problem is could be some thing else but not the stent, if you are hypertensive then you have to look for the control of blood pressure as well as for blood glucose also, if these are under control then no need to worry about this, it could be functional problem, have nice day.
