What Causes Cramps In The Vagina?

I woke up this morning with a really bad cramp in my vaginal area I got off my peroid not that long ago and have no idea what is causing it i tried to go to the resroom it hurt so bad it brought tears to my eyes it felt like something was trying to come out of me what could this be?
