What Causes Crunching And Cracking In My Neck?

I have a lot of crunching and cracking in my neck and head. I do know that I have two disc issues in my neck as well as as arthritis in my spine (just diagnosed). Have been referred to a spine Doctor. Trying to get a little information prior to that appointment. Can you tell me what I am dealing with?

Hello,

There is arthritis related changes in the spine segments of the neck. There will be wear and tear and and the articulating surface become uneven and cause abnormal sound while moving the neck. If you do not have pain, conservative treatment will be enough.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
