What Causes Cut On Penis Shaft After Having Protected Sex?

So first of all I have a small cut about ⅛ in size on the shaft of my penis, despite its small size it burns severely. For example after a few days the cut closes and blood clots form, but as soon ad I step in the shower or have sex, it opens up again within a few seconds and burns. I have had this cut for about 3 weeks now, and is the only cut I have ever had on my penis. Yes I always use protection during sexual activities.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The cut can be due to injury or trauma.
Burning sensation on the cut on penis suggests infection.
Complete management of the cut is required.
Recurrence of cut suggests that it is not treated completely.
Sexual intercourse should be avoided till the cut is completely treated.
I suggest you to consult an urologist for proper management.

Thanks and take care
