What Causes Daily Headaches?

Hi there. I seem to be getting headaches every day around the same time, 5-6pm. They last the remainder of the evening, &sometimes they are still present when I open my eyes from sleeping in the morning. I usually take 800 mg ibuprofin with little to no relief. They are in the same spot, as well...my brow bones. Sometimes it is both but others times, it is just one side. It seems to feel like a sinus headache, but I haven't had any cold symptoms nor have had problems with having allergies. Should I be concerned?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that you may have migraines.

These headaches may be unilateral, last for hours (at least 4) and may be severe.

Sinus congestion can also cause headaches but normally they are associated with additional sinus symptoms such as nasal congestion, post nasal drip, sneezing.

Your GP should be able to determine the source of your headache and would be able to initiate appropriate treatment.

I hope this helps
