What Causes Dark Blood Around The Stool?

My daughter has had dark blood around her stool for several months...she is 21and has been sexually active science 18. She has had three lovers and currently with her b\friend now of two years. She and I are close enough for me to ask if she has anal sex. She does not. She does take adderall 20mg. Several days a week. She will have blood surrounding her stool when she s had the adderall out of her system (10days) she does have small group of hemorrhoids for three years now. The blood does not come from outter hemorrhoids. The dark blood is passing with stool. The stool is normal in color and shape..

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Passage of dark red blood in stools is unlikely to be due to bleeding from the hemorrhoids.
Bleeding from hemorrhoids is usually bright red and the blood is fresh.
Dark red blood is probably bleeding high in the gastrointestinal tract which has got altered.
The drug adderall is unlikely to cause bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
There is possibility of polyp like lesion in the lower GIT.
Colonoscopy is required to assess the lower GIT to look for any polyp or any other lesion.
Thus, I suggest you to consult a gastroenterologist.
