What Causes Dark Blood In Phlegm Occasionally?

Hi,
Small piece of Dark blood only in phelgm since two weeks occasionally and not regularly. may be once in 2 to days without cough and also i feel chest is tight and feel like bit cough and no regular cough.
Can anyone let me know what could be the reason.

Hello.
Any blood in one's phlegm needs urgent evaluation with an exam and a chest x-ray.
This could indicate pneumonia or a lung tumor and shouldn't be ignored
