What Causes Dark Brown Discharge After Having A Safe Sex?

Hi my name is melissa and i am currently on the Depo and have been for 10 mounths. Dirctly after being on the depo my period stopped and just now i am spotting like a rusty brown this makes me nervouse because me and my boyfriend had just had sex for the first time a week ago. Am i prenant? we used a condom with spermiced and it didnt break

Hello,

According to your description, there is almost no chance of being pregnant. Some women have brownish discharge for a while after having sex for the first time, it is to do with the hormonal changes. However, if you're sure that the condom didn't break, you need not worry about pregnancy.
