What Causes Dark Brown Spotting Post Nuvaring Withdrawal?

5 months ago, I stopped using the Nuva Ring, which I had been using for 9 months. Since then, I have been having dark brown staining for 3-4 days before my period begins. I also have cramps for up to one week before the period, and very heavy periods. Is there any cause for concern?

it might have caused injury or infection because of use of nuvaring get it examined by gyne specialist and takemadvise for treatment. avoid using nuvaring and adopt other method of pregnancy prevention.
