What Causes Dark Brown Vaginal Discharge While On Birth Control?
My friend s period ended 11 days ago, but it has started again. She is having pain in her left side, and the blood was at first a dark murky brown and then turned a rich red color. She is on Birth control, and she is very dehydrated. She is saying that it is really really red, and not normal for periods

this could be die to PID Kidney disease or hormonal imbalance
You should visit a gynaecologist for clinical examination and a battery of tests like urine for culture and sensitivity test and an ultrasound for confirmation of diagnosis
Please ask her to have plenty of fluids including ORS and fruit juices to maintain good hydration
maintenance of good hygiene
