What Causes Dark Discolouration And Turning Into Scabs In Moles?

i have a mole that was pale in colour and over the last week has gone brown in colour. It is red around the edges and starting to scab over, should i be concerned. My brother had a non cancerous mole removed a few years ago and my grand mother had a skin cancer a few years ago.

Any sudden change in mole like discoloration, increase in size, Irregular borders should be of concern. I advise you to consult a dermatologist and get biopsy done.
