What Causes Dark Pigmentation Around Mouth After Using Melacare On Face?

Hi Doc, I have been using Mela care form last 1 month but now i stopped it. My skin tone shows gud result with fairer compleaction but around my mounth i got dark brown skin tone. So i am facing the worst issue with two totally different skin tone on my face.. Please help

Hi dear ,

As per your query you are using melacare cream from last one month and getting dark pigmentation around mouth . Well melacare which is very effective in case of hyperpigmentation contain hydroquinone , tretinoin and steroid which sometimes shows allergic reaction in some people or sometimes shoe side effects . I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe some substitute . Doctor may ask you to use kojic acid cream ( kojivit ) which is effective and safe for use . For now stop suing melacare and give cold compresses to affected area .
