What Causes Dark Pink Discharge With Cramping After Intercourse?
hello so I have started having sex in my relationship and that day I had dark pink discharge and then the next day cramping started and now there is this weird pain that comes and goes just above my belly button I don t know what is happening or if I should be concerned please help
Hello, Thanks for sharing your health concern with us. If this is the first time you had the intercourse, it is likely that your hymen may have ruptured causing the pinkish discharge. Also, the release of the hormone oxytocin during the sexual activity leads to contraction of the uterus and hence the pain. If you are due for your next natural period, it could also be a premenstrual discharge with cramping. Please get further help from your health care provider if there is no respite after rest and antispasmodic medication. Hope this helps.
