General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* The red blisters with watery discharge after veins retrieval for heart surgery indicates fluid collection via some sort of bacterial infection most likely.

My guidelines

- keep the parts clean with antiseptic liquid or soap
- local application of sterile dressing after polymycin application
- control of blood sugar
- consult general surgeon for primary check up and necessary prescription of medications as antibiotics (he or she may also decide to send fluid for culture sensitivity report if needed in microbiology lab).

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
