What Causes Dark Reddish Brown Discharge During Periods?
I was taking birth control this month, but due to my work schedule I would Miss doses. So since my period should be starting May 11th I stopped taking it about a week ago or so and I started cramping and thought I was starting my period as usual, but it was just brown and stringy. Yesterday I had a small clot and same today. It s dark redish brown. Should I worry about being pregnant?

The labs can do a test for pregnancy using your urine or serum from blood). If you are bleeding off and on, the lab can do a pregnancy test on your serum. Dony worry not much blood is required for this test. The test results are quick and you can take a decision based on the pregnancy test. Missing birth control pills may cause bleeding that is erratic . You may consult a gynecologist also for other options in birth control that dont require remembering to take pills daily. Best regards
