What Causes Dark Reddish Sore On Roof Of Mouth And Coughing?
theres a dark reddish colour sore in the roof of my mouth towards the back, its not a hole or a blister but it looks like its indented, could this be because right now i am generall ill with a bad throat and cough and havent had a correct sleeping and eating pattern since returning to uni?

Hello,
There could be ulcers on the roof of the mouth ie the soft palate region . These ulcers with fever suggests viral infection . You need to take an antibiotic to prevent any bacterial infection and in addition antiinflammatory medicines for quick relief. Do gargles and take multivitamin.
