General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Kindly get your kidney functions tested, as diabetic patients are more prone to kidney damage. In kidney failure the color of skin may be coffee like dark.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Satnarain Bansal, General & Family Physician
