What Causes Dark Spot At Cuticle Line And Back Into Finger?
Hello. I am a 61 y.o. woman, 4'11, weighing 105 lbs. I am inquiring about a dark spot that one day appeared at the cuticle line and back into my finger. It is small, painless, and no inflamation. I appeared 2 wks. ago and looks the same (no change). I wash dishes, shower, etc. but nothing seems to be healing it. How long should I wait before going to a doctor?

please visit the doctor near by because the dark spot may be of 2 reasons that is 1) melanoma 2)fungal infection so please kindly get it ruled out. thank you
