What Causes Dark Spots On Back And Stomach Area?

dark spots on my back and stomach area; they come in sometimes small red spots, usually itchy and then some are dark brown and few are almost black. I have read that these are age related spots, but I started getting them in my early 20 s and they have continued through out the years. Do they have anything to do with my liver?

Hi,

Most probably you may be having prurigo. Actually, the black spots may be the after effect of the prurigo lesions. After healing of lesions,spots may develop. However, you consult dermatologist.

You may follow as below...

- steroid tab in tappering dose
- antihistaminics
- local steroid cream
