What Causes Decline In BP Levels After Taking Losartan?

January 1st my blood pressure was 180/98 my doctor put me on losartan 50mg. I have been tracking my blood pressure daily (wrist) dropped 164/87 Jan. 18th, 138/77 Jan/ 22nd. 136/77 today.These figures are in the morning 10:30 - 11:00 Evening drops way down to 121/68 , 116/60 and now 115/52. I took it twice and my question is should I continue with the medication. I am also on Pravastatin 40mgs daily. My question should i remain on the blood pressure meds. I am with Hamana Ins and they changed doctors and i can't see my new doctor until the 29th.
