What Causes Decreased Urine Output With Occult Blood In Urine?

My 74 year old husband is going to have a biopsy of his bladder next week. The purpose is to identify some red spots in his bladder. He has no other symptoms except a decrease in flow of his urine. There was some Occult blood in his urine. He was cleared for kidney and prostate cancer. Are there early symptoms for badder CA? Thank you

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Red spots on bladder are mostly seen with bladder infection and bladder cancer.
And both of these can cause blood in urine and decreased urine output.
So to identify the cause bladder biopsy from the suspected area (red spots) is needed.
Biopsy will diagnose if it is due to bladder cancer or not.
So get done bladder biopsy.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wishing good health to your husband. Thanks.
