What Causes Degenerative Disc Disease And Osteoarthritis?

My name is Stephanie and i am a 31 year old female. I have DDD in my neck in 4 discs and mild osterothertis in my lower back. I had a ankle injury 4 years ago, but for the past couple of months i have this feeling in my upper right thigh. It feels like something is crawling in there and it hurts to touch. I cant lay on that side because of the discomfort. Im so scared..i dont know what it could be. I was on 13 percocet's for the last couple of years but fed up with the meds..im down to 5 now and by next week...none. Could the meds cause this?? Will it go away??? Please Help...im soooo scared.. :((
