What Causes Delay In Conception And Liquid Discharge From Breast After Having Abortion?

Hi my sister had first abortion 2 years back but still she is having some liquid fluid from her breast and she is having havy discharge too.she had a docter medication exam too,all the reports are normal.now she is trying to get pregnant again but she is not able too.so why is this happening what do you suggest her to get pregnant again she is about 25 years old.her husband is in abroad right now next month in June 2015 he is arriving please help her thank you.

Abortion that happened 2yrs back can't be the cause of breast discharge and heavy menstrual flow. Some people will have heavy flow normally. So you don't need to worry about that. Discharge from the breast is not normal and is seen in fibrocystic changes of breast, breast abscess, various medications like Respiridone, oral contraceptive pills, and breast cancer.

Please consult a gynecologist regarding breast discharge and let her be examined in detail to rule out any breast conditions like cancer and abscess. As she is only 25, and all reports came to be normal, there should be no difficulty in conception provided there is no male factor infertility.

Conception is difficult in conditions like uterine fibroids, polyps, septum, pelvic inflammatory disease resulting in tubal blockage, ovulation defects like PCOS and thyroid dysfunction, autoimmune disorders (lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto’s disease, thyroid gland conditions), obesity, smoking and alcoholism.

Please do consult a gynecologist if she doesn't conceive inspire of having regular intercourse for at least one year.
