What Causes Delay In Conception In Spite Of Taking Clomid?

Dear sir,I m 23 years old. I got married two years before. I have been trying to conceive for two years. I have pcos. I have been taking metformin 1500mg per day for five months. I have been taking Clomid for four cycles. Clomid 50mg and 100mg didn t work for me. Finally I was ovulated with Clomid 150mg last month but I was not able to conceive. Again I took Clomid 150mg this month and went for follicle monitoring on 10th day after period but the follicle size was 8-9mm on the tenth day. I m really worried and stressed. So could you please suggest me the best treatment for this infertility problem please?

I understand your concern.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) causes difficulty in conceiving because of irregular menstrual cycles and improper ovulation. What treatment has been instituted seems to be right and it appears that you are responding well for it. Only thing is you need to be calm and patient till it happens. In some, it may happen early and in some it may happen a little late.
In spite of trying with all means, if it does not happen, kindly consult Infertility specialist as you may have to work up with male and female factor evaluation and plan for assisted reproductive techniques like intra-uterine insemination (IUI) or invitro fertilization (IVF).
