Hello dear I understand your concern Pregnancy will detect the pregnancy 8-10 days after the delayed period from the normal expected period date. I pill also cause delayed period by the 8-10 days as it contain high progesterone. (high progesterone cause prolongation of second phase of the cycle). Your delayed period may be due to 1. Side effect of the I pill or 2. Pregnancy as I pill has 5 % failure rate. So wait for period, if period will delay by the more than 10 days then go for urine pregnancy test and or blood HCG to rule out the pregnancy. If you will be pregnant then still you can terminate the intrauterine pregnancy by abortion pill under the advice of gynecologist. Avoid stress, do regular stretching exercise and take healthy diet.
