What Causes Delay In Menstrual Cycle After Abortion While On Cycloreg?
I am 36 year old with a girl child. I usually get regular periods two or three days in advance. In November on the advise of a doctor a I had an abortion in 2nd month and got period on 19th. This month I did not get my periods till date. On 20.12.16, I consulted doctor, it is confirmed that it is not pregnancy, I was prescribed Cycloreg for 3 days. But still I did not get periods. Plz advise
Hello dear I understand your concern Your period could be delayed by hormonal imbalance in absence of pregnancy. Doctor give you cycloreg to induce period. Generally it is given for 4-6 days. Period will occur 4-7 days after stopping pill So wait for period for 7 days. If period will not come 7 days after stopping pill then consult gynecologist and high progesterone can be used induce period. Avoid stress, take healthy diet, drink plenty of water, do regular exercise Hope this may help you
