Hello ma'am and welcome.

Menstrual irregularities can result from various causes like stress, medications, diet, sudden weight loss or weight gain, birth control, etc. Papaya is considered to influence the menstrual cycle in a few ways, which is why it is even contraindicated in pregnancy.

If at all you have been regularly consuming papaya, then I would recommend discontinuation. But either way, menstrual irregularities need to be reported to a medical professional for an elaborate evaluation with hormone level check, ultrasound examination, etc. Your doctor may choose to supplement you with hormones or other medications (e.g. metformin) that can influence (help) regularise the menstrual cycle.

Best wishes.
