What Causes Delay In Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?

Hi, I was suppose to start my period a week ago today. I ve never been really regular or right on time. But this time, the past 3 days every time I wipe when I go pee it s been brown like old blood. Today when I wiped it was a light red. That was twice today then it went away. I ve been wearing a pad because I have been cramping like I m going to start but nothing?!

Hi,
Your history of irregular periods suggests that you have some undetected hormone imbalance. This could be the cause for the spotting you are experiencing. Another possibility is an impending period. If it is pregnancy, you should be able to test positive on a blood test, even if negative on a HPT. Implantation bleeding is seen at the time of the expected period and it is a fresh bleed. Cramping is also seen in early pregnancy. Please get investigated to clarify the situation. Hope this helps.
