What Causes Delay In Menstruation When Diagnosed With PCOS?

Hi. I am believe to have pcos and i have beentaking metformin for a few months now. Normally i would get a pperiod or spot or ssomething. And my period normally ccomes on the 17th or before. TThis month I got nothing and today is the 24th. Took a test about 2 days after my missed period. Came bk negative. Could I still be . Pregnant?

Hi

I would suggest you to take the pregnancy test again after a week since false negative result is possible.

If the test is negative,hormonal pills should be taken along with metformin in order to regularise your cycles.3 months treatment may be required.Hypothyroidism should also be ruled out.
