What Causes Delay In Menstruation?

I have been experiencing almost every pregnancy symptom excluding vomiting as I have missed my period... I tested the day I was to expect my period and received a negative... I tested two days later and still received negatives... the 18th will mark a week from the date I missed my period. I used home pregnancy tests and I m wondering is there a time frame that would be more accurate

Hello ma'am and welcome.

First of all, you have tested at the right time (especially the second test), just wanted to make sure you are using an esrly morning urine sample, please do if you are not.

As for the cause, other than pregnancy we have many other causes as well that can result in a hormonal imbalance and so I wouls recommend an elaborate evaluation at your doctors for the same.
