What Causes Delay In Period And Painful Lower Abdomen?
I m afraid I might be pregnant , my period should be coming in about 3 weeks and I had unprotected sex about 4 days ago , I don t k ow if this has anything to do with possible pregnancy but my lower abdomen on the left side was hurting about 2 mights ago , other than that everything else is normal is there anyway I can know this early ?
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Pregnancy cannot be detected as early as 4 days after the unprotected intercourse. You have to wait till your expected dates, if delayed then do get a urine pregnancy test done to confirm the diagnosis. Pain in one side of lower abdomen can be due to pelvic inflammatory disease, or due to ovulation. If the pain is unbearable or is associated with other symptoms, then you should consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated including ultrasound and get appropriate treatment.
