Hi,

It is possible for the period to be delayed when one uses a pregnancy kit. This is because there are hormones in the Pregnancy kit.

This can alter the uterine contraction and the duration it takes for the uterine lining to increase to be able to shed again during the period.

Because of this a period can be delayed. Rarely the bleeding may be minimal and this may not seem like a period.

In case more than 1 period is skipped, consult a doctor or a gynecologist to assess the uterine health.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Vignan Rachabattuni
