What Causes Delay In Period When Pregnancy Test Is Negative?

I missed my periods by 11 days by now but last week i had pregnancy test it was negative...doctor told me to wait for another week and do test again meanwhile im having leg pain and feeling of getting my periods daily but itz not coming will i become pregnant i want to know...Itz been two years im married im waiting for pregnancy
