What Causes Delay In Period With Negative UPT?

Hi Doctor,

My name is haritha, i am trying for pregnancy, my periods are delayed by 9 days, i did a home pregnancy
test and it is negative.Visited a Gynecologist she suggested me to take Duoluton L Tablet, should i use it will it affect my plan for conceiving, as i am desperate to get conceived asap.

pls suggest.

Duoluton L wiuld have been prescribed once pregnancy has been ruled out completely, because it helps in regularization of your menstrual cycle, although mainly to help with a withdrawal bleed.

It should not interfere with your plans of conception in anyway. Hope this helps.
