What Causes Delay In Periods After LEP?

We are trying to conceive since 1.5 Years. My wife had lep three months before. Her two periods were normal. Suddenly for third month after lep, she neither got pregnant nor she is having period. Dr saying it is due to hormonal imbalance, but failed to give remedy on this.
