Hi,

Your periods should return within 4 to 8 weeks of your abortion. How much time elapses before you get your first post-abortion period depends, in part, on the duration of pregnancy. Pregnancy hormones may remain for a few weeks afterwards, causing a delay in menstruation. In case of absent bleeding more than 8 weeks or normal cycle do not occur even after 3 months, it is essential to visit your gynaecologist.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
