What Causes Delay In Periods After Taking Lupron Injection?

I am preparing to have IVF, my last period was on 23rd June, on the day 25th of my last period I took Lupron injection in order to start stimulation on the 2nd day of the period but till now my period not come. this means delay of 5 days, is that normal?
