What Causes Delay In Periods After Taking Nordette?

My last mens was jan 20, i had sex last feb 13, and took nordette as ecp on feb 15, i been used it before and im sure that is 100% effective. But now, am 4 days late on my period this month. Im a 28 cycle girl, and it says that on feb 13 am safe, but to make sure i took ecp. What should i do now? Still very paranoid. Still no have bleeding.

How many pills did you take of Nordette for emergency contraception? It is as 4 tablets in total dose given in divided schedule . If you have taken less dose you can have pregnancy.
The most common side effect of the tablet is causing premature or delaying your period date by 7 days based on time of your period when the tablet was taken.As you have taken tablet towards the end of your cycle it will cause delaying of your period bleed.

Wait for 7 days after the pill intake, if the periods do not have then get pregnancy test done. if positive you will need to visit a local gynecologist.

Don't worry if the pill in correct dose was taken within 72 hours of sex then you will get your period by Feb 22.
