What Causes Delay In Periods And Abdominal Cramps Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hi, I have a question. I have a 25 day regular cycle and am very familiar with my body. This cycle I am 4 days late on my period. I did HTP, but it was negative. I have had strong cramps for about 3 days, which now alternates from left and right ovary and feels more like pinching. I have some bloating and enlarged breasts, but I suppose could be hormonal. Could I be pregnant, or is there any other medical explanation such as a cyst for my missed period?
If your UPT tests is negative then it is highly unlikely that you can be pregnant but it is important that you have done UPT minimum after 20 days of your unprotected sex.
Delayed periods or abdominal cramps can be the symptoms of something else,so you should not be worried about it.It does not seem to be ovarian cyst or missed periods since your UPT was negative.
You can take pain killers and drink lots of fluids with fruit juices to avoid abdominal cramps.

What Causes Delay In Periods And Abdominal Cramps Despite Having Negative UPT?
Hello, Welcome to HCM. Also take antacids like pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily for stomach bloating. However, you may repeat UPT test and ultrasound of pelvis to confirm there is no pregnancy and rule out chances of other pelvic or uterine abnormality. Consult gynecologist if your periods do not start within 4 to 5 days. Hope this helps. Regards,
